GIS-T Paper

In the Fall, I did a GIS analysis (see post below) and wrote a paper on bike share trip density in New York City. This was my term project for a course called “Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning”, taught by Jeff Olson at SUNY-Albany.

When the course was over, I submitted the paper to the GIS for Transportation Symposium student paper contest, coordinated by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).

It won! I will be presenting the paper at the Symposium in Des Moines, Iowa later this month. If you’re interested, I’ve linked the paper here: KO_GIST_Paper
